🌿Reflections From My Practice - The Calm Connection

Some of the most meaningful moments in my career haven't happened during planned activities or carefully prepared learning experiences.

They've happened in the quiet moments.

A child who comes back for a cuddle after a difficult morning.

A smile after tears.

A hand reaching out to hold mine.

Those moments have reminded me that connection isn't built because everything went perfectly.

It's built because a child learns they are still valued, even after a difficult moment.

Children don't need adults who never get it wrong.

They need adults who are willing to reconnect, repair and to keep showing up.

I've learned that relationships can grow through everyday moments of consistency, kindness and trust.

That's what connection looks like.

I'd love to hear from you.

What's one small moment of connection that has stayed with you?
